A Day of Firsts.....

I am lying in bed at 1:40 am wondering where the time has gone and wondering why I haven't done a better job at documenting all the wonderful details that make my girls who they are. This may have been brought on by the fact that yesterday Anna, who is now 6 proudly announces that she has her first loose tooth. And then today, Nick decides to take my baby's passy away. She is soon to be 3 in one short month and...well... it is time. She has been a real trooper by the way. It has been 18 hours and counting. Not to mention a nap and going to bed without a whimper. I am so proud of you baby! However that is a lot for me to absorb in two short days. Addie's passy seemed to be what was keeping her my baby. Just yesterday I said, "Are you mama's baby?" And she corrected me by saying, "I'm not your baby, I'm your big girl!" My heart just broke. I am not usually this sappy. It just seems that those were two huge milestones reminding me that my girls are very quickly growing up. They have also reminded me that I should savor every moment, good or bad, because they are fleeting. I love you my "big girls!"

What a precious post April! Noah tells me every night "but I'm not a baby Mommy I'm a big boy" as if he is talking me into it! At least we have each other along the way while our "babies" grow up!

I am proud of you April...starting your own blog! Look forward to seeing all of you soon. And yes, it IS hard letting your baby go. It makes me sad to see each of our boys grow older; they don't even let me hold them anymore.
